Bio

Top Stripper, a hard rock band from Ljubljana, Slovenia, is best summed up by the motto “The Soul of Blues and the Heart of Rock’n’Roll”. Despite their youth they know exactly what they want, which is clearly reflected both in song-writing and onstage-performance. Their inspiring and passionate live shows are known for the distinctive and recognizable lead vocals, heavy and melodic guitar riffs and powerful rhythm. Significantly influenced by old american blues, the band has been writing their own stuff, all based on personal thought and life experience, since the very beginnings. With their gigs being remarkable without exception they have sealed their spot on slovenian rock scene and built a loyal fan base of their own.

They believe in what they do with heart and soul. It has always been a way of life for them. Their music is a reflection of themselves. Even though they are often being compared to well known classics, they have put no effort into trying to sound or look like any of other famous acts. On the contrary, they are thoroughly dedicated to developing a style of their own in both music and image. And onstage, they will always give their best.

At the moment they are successfully representing their album on Slovenian radio stations and concert stages. The goal is to perform and play on big festivals and stages around the world. In the meantime, they are looking forward to creating a brand new album.

The listener is attracted by the unique melodiousness and persuaded by the soul of the tunes and lyrics itself. Delivering inspiring and energetic shows playing venues and festivals all over Slovenia since 2009, they have always proved that they have got something going, from modest takeoffs, familiar to every band, to ice-breaking gigs in front of crowds of more than a thousand. They have impressed fans supporting several famous bands and sold out shows of their own as well. Among others, they shared the stage with Trigger Finger, Guns 2 Roses, Letz Zep , Siddharta at the festival in Frankolovo, and later on played numerous shows at Club Cvetličarna, Cirkus, Orto Bar and Metelkova mesto in Ljubljana. They played at Schengenfest festival in 2014 with headliners H.I.M and Morcheeba.

With their gigs being remarkable without exception they have sealed their spot on slovenian rock scene and built a loyal fan base of their own. The video for their first single, “Can’t Hear You Cryin’”, has more than 19.000 views so far, and with its hard rock rhythm and catchy tune, the song itself nails it at every live show. Second single, “Crazy Child”, has recently gotten a video of its own, which has also announced their first album Luck Don’t Come Cheap. Among all the novelties, “good old classics” such as “Gone With The Train”, “Shoot the Boy” and “Daisy Darlin’” cannot be neglected. The crowds dig and cheer those at every gig.
